"Chardonnay Royalty...
From modest beginnings came America's greatest white wine estate..."

We think John Winthrop Haeger in Saveur got it just right! Winemaking today at Stony Hill continues the philosophy that Fred and Eleanor McCrea established when they crushed their first grapes in 1952. We believe, as they did, that the character of the wine is determined by the unique qualities of our hillside grown grapes.

"Stony Hill is not only world-class Chardonnay; it could be the last great example of traditional Napa Valley white winemaking."
