2022 Côtes des Pierres Cabernet Sauvignon

Côtes des Pierres, the “Stone Slopes,” is from a particularly rocky terroir on the hill where Blue Oaks, Manzanitas, and chaparral also grow. This effusive yet understated wine fills the glass with aromas of black mission fig, plum, sage, cinnamon, and rosemary. Rich, pure, and mineral-driven, this elegant wine is such an impressive debut.

2022 Côte Rouge

The Stony Hill Côte Rouge Cabernet Sauvignon, from the highest altitude parcel on our hill, offers so much in 2022, crowned one of the “Wines of the Vintage” by Jonathan Cristaldi in Decanter. This aromatically dense and expressive wine presents with aromas of black cherry, bay, fresh tobacco leaf, and smells of the surrounding forest. A ferrous undertone speaks of the iron-rich red soils of Côte Rouge. Light on its feet, fine and balanced, the inaugural vintage of this wine is not to be missed.

2023 L'Escalier

Planted on steep spring-fed terraces on our mountain site, this heritage blend features Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and the oldest Riesling vines in the United States.
Our 2023 L’Escalier opens with aromas of pomelo pith and pear, before hints of sage, citrus blossom, and beeswax. This elegant and poised wine based around our Riesling vines planted in 1948 is both serious and refreshing, conjuring the mountain springs that feed these old vines with each sip.
