2012 Mill Creek Reach Chardonnay

Vintage:   Wine:
Formerly known as SHV Chardonnay, Mill Creek Reach is once again our light, bright crowd-pleaser.

Formerly known as SHV Chardonnay, Mill Creek Reach is once again our light, bright, crowd-pleaser.  We changed the name to better describe the land where the vines grow, a broad stretch of rocky clay soil rising up from Mill Creek toward the northeasterly part of our property.  Pale straw in color, it's got a slightly tropical bouquet with hints of peach and pineapple on the tongue.  It is exceedingly dry with a zingy mouth feel and a fresh tart finish.  We suggest you cellar it for six months for maximum reward.
